Purposes of processing and legal basis

For the purpose of sending the newsletter, we process the personal data you provide via the form provided, in any case the e-mail address and the selected areas of interest. The legal basis for this is your voluntarily given consent pursuant to Art. 6 (1) sentence 1 lit. a) GDPR using the so-called double opt-in procedure. In this process, you will first receive a link to confirm your consent at the e-mail address you have provided. The declaration of consent also expressly includes the processing of email interaction data, which enables us, using a so-called tracking pixel, to measure the success of online marketing measures and to better adapt the content of future newsletters to your interests. Using the embedded tracking pixel, we can see whether and when an email was opened by you and which links in the email were called up.Furthermore, subscribers to the newsletter may be informed by e-mail if this is necessary for the operation of the newsletter service or a related registration, as may be the case in the event of changes to the newsletter offering or changes in technical circumstances.

Recipients

The recipients of the personal data are the employees in the areas of public relations and sales of Communardo Software GmbH. Where necessary, contracts for commissioned processing pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR exist with the service providers we use (e.g. providers of SaaS solutions).

Intention of transfer to third countries and legal basis

Personal data is transferred to third countries subject to data protection law only if the special requirements of Art. 44 et seq. GDPR are fulfilled (e.g. in case of an adequacy decision or by concluding standard data protection clauses). Automated individual decision-making and profiling

We do not carry out automated individual case decision-making or profiling.

Duration of processing

You can cancel the subscription at any time. Your consent can be revoked at any time with effect for the future. For the purpose of revoking consent, a corresponding link can be found in each newsletter. Furthermore, it is also possible to unsubscribe from the newsletter mailing directly on the website at any time or to notify the controller of this in another way. With the cancellation of the newsletter subscription, we immediately delete all personal data processed in this context.

Notice of data subject rights

Data subjects may at any time request information about the personal data concerning them and, if necessary, request rectification or deletion or restriction of processing, or object to processing. There is also a right to data portability. Furthermore, if the data processing is carried out on the basis of consent, this can be revoked at any time for the future. Right to complain to a supervisory authority

There is a right for every data subject to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority pursuant to Art. 77 GDPR if it is suspected that the processing of the personal data is carried out unlawfully.
