IT Consultant (m/f/d)

As an IT Consultant, you will be responsible for the technical consulting and configuration of complex web applications for our customers. This position offers you the opportunity to act as an interface between development, operations and customers. You will analyse requirements, develop innovative solutions and contribute to the standardization and automation of processes. With a high degree of decision-making freedom, you will actively design technical solutions and implement them in line with customer requirements.

Your role (tasks)

Advising and implementing our customers with regard to the optimal use, further development and design of future-proof IT solutions
Analyzing and solving application-specific problems, malfunctions and technical challenges (e.g. performance problems, third-party integrations) and answering application-specific questions
Support and maintenance of the Java web application to ensure smooth operation and take on technical, administrative and editorial tasks
Optimization of existing processes for products/solutions, services and collaboration, as well as system configuration to ensure stability and efficiency
Developing automation strategies to increase efficiency and continuously improve the systems and processes used
Creation and maintenance of IT documentation, including operational documentation, technical documentation and service documentation as the basis for quality assurance measures
Responsibility for customer meetings and workshops in order to develop and implement optimal solutions in the interests of our customers
Our consulting team is self-organized. This gives you the necessary freedom, but also the support you need in exciting customer situations

Your profile and your story

Initial experience or great interest in the field of IT consulting, system integration, web applications or 3rd level support staff
Knowledge in the technical analysis of malfunctions and problems by analyzing web server, database, operating system and Java logs, among others
You are enthusiastic about diverse platforms and system architectures in an increasingly dynamic environment
Administration and configuration of web applications
You know and may have initial experience with cloud and infrastructure platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
You confidently conduct customer meetings and guide the customer (e.g. in workshops) to successful implementation
A plus but not a must:
- Knowledge of single sign-on and authentication mechanisms (MFA, SAML, ...)
- Knowledge of concepts of infrastructure as code and configuration management (e.g. Terraform, Ansible, ...)
- Initial knowledge of Atlassian applications
