Instructional Designer / eLearning Content Developer (m/f/d)

We are looking for an experienced Instructional Designer / eLearning Content Developer to evaluate and convert existing training materials - such as wiki pages, documents, and PowerPoint slides - into modern, interactive formats. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of instructional design, graphic design, communication, and proficiency in English. You should be adept at incorporating text, images, videos, audio, and other creative elements to create engaging and effective learning content.

Key Responsibilities

Evaluate Existing Content: Assess the relevance, accuracy, and effectiveness of current training materials.
Content Conversion: Transform traditional training materials (e.g., wiki pages, documents, PowerPoint slides) into interactive eLearning modules.
Multimedia Integration: Incorporate various multimedia elements such as text, images, videos, audio, animations, and interactive activities to enhance learning experiences.
Design and Development: Use eLearning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate, iSpring Suite, etc.) to design and develop engaging content.
Collaboration: Work closely with subject matter experts, instructional designers, and other stakeholders to ensure content accuracy and relevance.
Quality Assurance: Review and test eLearning content to ensure it meets quality standards and is free of errors.
Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in eLearning, instructional design, and multimedia development.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Graphic Design, Communications, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
Experience: Proven experience as an Instructional Designer or similar role developing eLearning content and using eLearning authoring tools.
Skills:
- Strong understanding of instructional design principles and adult learning theories.
- Proficiency in graphic design and multimedia editing software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to create engaging and interactive learning experiences.
- Strong project management skills and attention to detail.
Portfolio: A portfolio showcasing previous eLearning projects and multimedia content is highly desirable.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) xAPI and AICC/SCORM-compliant content development.
Strong understanding of instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM) and adult learning principles.
Knowledge of HTML5 and CSS for eLearning content customisation.
Experience in video production and editing.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
